VketUrlOpener

Overview

On Interact, the designated URL's webpage will open on the web browser. This Prefab will only work with Vket venue worlds during the event period. Only domains designated by Vket staff that are on the Allowlist can be used.

The following two types can be chosen as the Prefab's appearance:

2D

You may assign a 2D image of your choice for the prefab's appearance.

3D

You may assign a 3D model of your choice for the prefab's appearance.

How to Use

Setup the Prefab

Select the Prefab's "Generate and Configure Prefab" button in the VketTools' VketPrefab list. Follow the instructions in VketTools to setup the Prefab.

Setting Up VketUrlOpener2D

After adding the prefab, a settings window will appear for configuration.
If you accidentally close it, you can still edit the settings by selecting VketURLOpener_2D in the Hierarchy and clicking Open Settings Window in the Inspector.

1. Adjusting Size
   Change the X and Y values under Scale to adjust the size of the VketURLOpener_2D button.
2. Image Settings
   You can set the visual image of the button.
   Choose from template images (BUY, FREE, CATALOG) or use a image of your own choice by selecting Custom.
   *The image’s Texture Type must be set to Sprite (2D and UI) to be applied correctly.
3. URL Settings
   Enter a product page URL that matches one of the domains in the Allowlist below.
   The specified product page will be displayed during the event.

Setting Up VketUrlOpener3D

After adding the prefab, a settings window will appear for configuration. If you accidentally close it, you can still edit the settings by selecting VketURLOpener_3D in the Hierarchy and clicking Open Settings Window in the Inspector.

1. Setting the 3D Visual Model
   Prepare any 3D object you’d like to use as the visual.
   Add the 3D object as a child of the Visual object under VketURLOpener_3D.
2. Adjusting Collider Size
   The collider will be automatically sized based on the visual object's size.
   Since the default collider is slightly smaller, you may need to manually adjust the size in the Capsule Collider settings in the Inspector. Click Setup Collider to automatically apply a Capsule Collider.
   If the automatic sizing doesn’t work well, select VketURLOpener_3D in the Hierarchy and manually adjust the Capsule Collider settings to fit the visual.
3. Removing Colliders from the Visual Model
   Click Delete All Colliders at [Visual] to automatically remove all Collider components from the visual model object added in step 1.
   *The visual model must not contain any Collider components for correct functionality.
4. URL Settings
   Enter a product page URL that matches one of the domains in the Allowlist below.
   The specified product page will be displayed during the event.

   *Only URLs from the domains above can be used.

Precautions

• These prefabs will only function within the venue during the Virtual Market event period.
• The URL must match a domain from the Allowlist defined by Vket staff.
  If domeain does not match, an error will be displayed instead.
• Image for 2D prefab must be set to Sprite format in advance.
• Removing the Animator will break the component, and deleting anything under Interact-Pop will prevent the popup window from appearing correctly.
